Tibbs Paving, Inc. is seeking an organized, dependable, and technologically proficient Dispatcher. This office-based position will coordinate and schedule company-owned trucks and hired subcontractor trucking for milling and paving operations. The Dispatcher will work closely with Operations and Accounting to ensure trucking resources, records, and compliance requirements are properly managed. Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch company-owned and hired subcontractor trucks for daily milling and paving operations. Work closely with Operations to determine daily trucking, scheduling, and equipment-transportation needs. Dispatch lowboy drivers and equipment throughout the East Coast region. Communicate schedule changes, delays, job-site instructions, and other important information to drivers and Operations. Enter, review, and verify truck tickets in the company's software. Confirm that truck tickets, quantities, job numbers, trucking companies, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate. Mange the DOT compliance, motor vehicle record checks, CDL verification, driver qualification documentation, and required online compliance portals. Coordinate with Accounting to collect and verify required documents from hired trucking companies, including subcontract agreements, W-9 forms, and certificates of insurance. Work with the IT administrator to maintain and update trucking, driver, vendor, and fleet information in the company's software. Perform additional dispatching, fleet-coordination, and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in dispatching, trucking, transportation, logistics, or fleet coordination is strongly preferred. Familiarity with DOT requirements, MVRs, CDL verification, and driver compliance documentation is preferred. Must be technologically proficient and comfortable learning and using the company's software. Strong computer skills, including email, electronic document management, and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple drivers, schedules and changing priorities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Must be dependable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 6:00am to 3:00pm work hours, however the position requires occasional after-hours availability based on operational and trucking needs. Must be authorized to work in the United States. This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

$65,000.00 per year
