•We are seeking a motivated individual to join our fast-paced and growing team at Gray's Towing. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, have excellent memory and multitasking skills, and possess a professional, solution-oriented demeanor. This is a rotating position between our three locations . We operate 24/7 , so flexibility is essential. Some nights and every other weekend are required once fully trained.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer inbound calls for towing, impounds, and accident recovery services with detail and accuracy. Dispatch up to 35 drivers and trucks (light to heavy-duty) across Eastern Carolina. Prioritize and coordinate service calls based on urgency, driver availability, and customer needs. Respond to impound inquiries and explain release requirements in accordance with towing and impoundment laws. Handle cashiering and paperwork for vehicle releases, often in tense or emotional situations. Perform administrative tasks, including billing, auditing, and account reconciliation. Maintain organized workspaces and assist with light office cleaning duties.

Qualifications:

Exceptional computer, typing, and data entry skills. Previous billing, clerical, or dispatching experience is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations. Proficient in using Google Maps and familiar with Eastern Carolina roads and landmarks. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Able to retain and process evolving information and procedures.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old . Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
