Overview We are seeking a dedicated Tow Truck Dispatcher to coordinate vehicle recovery operations efficiently and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing dispatch communications, utilizing vehicle dispatch software, and ensuring smooth end-of-shift reporting. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective phone communication, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. Weekend availability is essential, and candidates may be required to visit the tow truck lot to release vehicles, which necessitates holding a valid driver's license. Duties Manage incoming calls from customers, roadside assistance providers, and team members with professionalism and courtesy. Dispatch tow trucks promptly using specialized vehicle dispatch software to ensure timely service delivery. Coordinate with tow truck operators to assign jobs efficiently and monitor ongoing recovery operations. Maintain organized records of dispatch activities, including detailed documentation of each call and service provided. Handle phone call management effectively, prioritizing urgent requests while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Assist with end-of-shift reporting by preparing daily P&L spreadsheets to track operational performance. May need to visit the tow truck lot to release vehicles as required, ensuring proper procedures are followed. Support team communication and collaboration to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in customer service and phone communication roles preferred. Proficiency with vehicle dispatch software or similar systems is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver's license required for potential visits to the tow truck lot for vehicle releases. Ability to work weekends consistently as part of the scheduled shift. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to handle stressful situations professionally.
