Job Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Automotive Service Dispatcher to join our busy service department. In this role, you will manage the daily flow of repair orders, balance technician workloads, and ensure that customer vehicles are serviced accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities Work Assignment:
Match and assign repair orders to technicians based on individual skill levels, certifications, and current shop capacity.
Workflow Management:
Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and shop bay utilization in real time.
Department Coordination:
Work closely with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to track repair statuses, reduce delays, and manage parts availability.
Quality & Compliance Control:
Review completed repair orders for accuracy, ensure proper documentation (complaint, cause, correction), and verify that required multi-point inspections are completed.
Communication:
Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding estimated completion times and any changes in repair scopes.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Previous experience as an automotive service dispatcher, service advisor, shop foreman, or technician.
Skills:
Strong understanding of automotive repair workflows, parts processes, and warranty procedures.
Technical Literacy:
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or shop scheduling software.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional multitasking, communication, and problem-solving abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
Up to $100,000.00 per year
