In this vital role, The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with drivers and customers, handling multiple tasks at once, and working in a fast- paced transportation environment. Dispatch and communicate for drivers, customers, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems throughout the day. Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and driver schedules. Communicate professionally with customers and drivers. Provide drivers with accurate locations, instructions, and job information. Communicate effectively with drivers regarding route changes, delivery updates, or issues. Maintain accurate dispatch records and paperwork. Answer incoming calls and assist with day-to-day operations. Work closely with management to keep operations running smoothly. Qualifications Must be bilingual- English and Spanish. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable and punctual. Comfortable using computers, phones, email, and dispatch systems. Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyze logistical data for problem-solving and decision-making purposes. Trucking or dispatch experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of the DFW area is a plus. Experience Previous experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, towing or dispatching is a plus. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated and willing to learn. We want someone who takes initiative, communicates well, stays calm under pressure, and can work as part of a team. Reliability and willingness to learn are very important for this position.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
