GED Full Job Description Overview:

Polk Mechanical is seeking a Service Dispatcher Team Lead to dispatch Service Technicians to install, service, and repair HVAC/R and plumbing systems, coordinating closely with service management to keep technicians scheduled and customers informed.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers and sales representatives to determine service and scheduling needs Generate service calls within the computer program, recording the type and scope of work to be performed Work closely with service managers to coordinate technicians, determine schedules, and assign workloads Schedule and notify technicians of daily assignments; monitor workload and capacity throughout the day Interact with suppliers to verify availability of parts to ensure quality and timely service calls Create and maintain new customer accounts with up-to-date and accurate information Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures High School Diploma / GED required Two years of education and/or experience in a related area Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Highly safety conscious Excellent organizational skills; self-motivated and able to follow through with minimal supervision
