Job Description

Position Summary The HVAC Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring efficient daily operations by coordinating service schedules, dispatching technicians, and maintaining clear communication between customers and field staff. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage daily scheduling of HVAC service calls and installations Dispatch technicians efficiently based on priority, geographical location, and skill set Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer calls; answer and route calls professionally Enter and maintain accurate work orders in the company's field management software Communicate job details, updates, and changes to field technicians in real time Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimize productivity Order parts and track inventory as required for service and installation jobs Follow up with customers regarding appointments, delays, and job completion Maintain detailed records of service calls, customer interactions, and job statuses
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or HVAC industry preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with computers and field service management software
Work Environment:
This is an office-based role that involves frequent phone and computer use, with constant coordination between customers and field technicians. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
