The right person will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our NEMT services by coordinating transportation requests, communicating with drivers and healthcare facilities, assisting customers, and helping keep our daily schedule running smoothly. As we expand our fleet, service area, and facility partnerships, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility, leadership, and career advancement. What You'll Do Receive and process transportation requests from healthcare facilities, patients, families, and other referral sources Schedule and dispatch wheelchair, ambulatory, and stretcher transportation Communicate trip information and schedule changes to drivers Coordinate pickups and drop-offs with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, medical offices, and other healthcare providers Monitor the daily transportation schedule and help ensure trips remain on time Communicate professionally with customers regarding ETAs, delays, and schedule changes Answer incoming telephone calls, emails, and transportation requests Enter and maintain accurate trip and customer information Assist with driver schedules and daily assignments Confirm upcoming transportation appointments Maintain organized transportation records and documentation Assist with billing information and trip verification as needed Help resolve scheduling and transportation issues as they arise Provide general administrative support to management Assist with improving dispatch and office processes as the company grows Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Highly organized and dependable Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator Friendly and professional on the phone Able to multitask and prioritize Comfortable working with computers, scheduling systems, email, and Microsoft Office Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records Able to communicate effectively with drivers, patients, families, and healthcare professionals A problem solver who can stay calm when schedules change Interested in growing with a newer company and taking on additional responsibilities over time Transportation, dispatch, healthcare, home care, medical office, logistics, scheduling, or customer service experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
