Responsibilities Oversees licensure and provides continuing education units (CEU) for 12 EMS Agencies, 1,000+ First Responders, 2,000+ EMT-Basic, 200+ EMT-Paramedics, 100+ ECRNs and pre-hospital RNs, as established by the EMS Medical Director and Illinois State law. Manages the examination program for individual First Responder Defibrillators, EMT-Basics, EMT-Intermediates, EMT-Paramedics, pre-hospital RNs and ECRNs. Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
