Oversees maintenance and security of facilities; oversees renovation projects and monitors work to improve energy efficiency, productivity or employee safety. May work in manufacturing and production, or manage hotels, small apartment buildings, trailer parks or recreational facilities.
The Kelly Group is seeking a Metal Fabrication Facility Manager for its Marion, Arkansas , location. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of fabrication facility management experience. This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties: Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity and adherence to safety standards Actively pursue new business opportunities by reaching out to existing and prospective clients to generate fabrication work Prepare and manage project proposals, including estimating, budgeting and scope development Perform material take-offs and coordinate procurement of materials and supplies Safely operate and train employees on fabrication equipment such as press brakes, bending rolls and punches Hire, schedule and lead a skilled and motivated facility workforce Maintain strong communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining high-quality standards Coordinate facility activities with field crews and project teams Promote and enforce safe work practices to maintain a safe working environment Utilize basic computer systems for tracking jobs, communication and reporting Other preferred qualifications include: Experience with inventory control and regulatory compliance Basic drafting skills, including CAD Strong organizational, communication and customer relationship skills The Kelly Group offers a complete benefits package , including: Comprehensive group medical, Rx, dental and vision coverage Health care and dependent care pre-tax flexible spending account options Paid life/AD&D insurance Short-term and long-term disability 401(k) retirement plan option with employer match Paid time off and paid vacation Paid holidays
