Job Description

HGA is seeking a Facility Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical) functions at a high purity chemical manufacturing facility supporting the semiconductor industry. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, infrastructure reliability, and safe, efficient plant operations. The Facility Manager is accountable for environmental compliance, process safety, hazardous materials management, maintenance systems, engineering reliability, and emergency response readiness, while supporting ongoing operations and future facility growth . Key Responsibilities Lead and manage site EHS programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Serve as the site authority on environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, and process safety, including PSM and RMP requirements. Oversee hazardous materials management, environmental permitting, regulatory reporting, and incident investigations. Maintain and execute emergency response plans and exercise authority to stop work when safety or regulatory risks are identified. Direct Mechanical and Electrical engineering functions, preventive maintenance programs, and CMMS utilization. Oversee facility infrastructure, utilities, and contractor performance to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance. Support capital projects and facility expansions, providing engineering, safety, and regulatory oversight. Collaborate cross functionally to promote a strong safety culture, continuous improvement, and team development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field required; Master's preferred. Seven or more years of experience in EHS, facilities, engineering, or manufacturing within high hazard industrial environments. At least three years of leadership experience managing EHS or engineering teams. Strong experience with environmental permitting, hazardous materials management, CMMS platforms, PSM, and RMP compliance. Preferred Certifications
CSP, CIH, CSHM, CHMM, OSHA 30
Hour General Industry, ISO 14001 and
ISO 45001
credentials. Physical Demands and Work Environment This role requires routine on site presence in an industrial environment, use of appropriate PPE, and the ability to perform moderate physical activity, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
