Unit Manager - Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking dedicated, compassionate professionals for our 134-bed skilled nursing facility, located in Casa Grande, AZ. We are currently seeking full-time LPN or RN Unit Managers. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus (available after 60-day employment period has been completed). Must be Full-time status.

We offer competitive pay:

LPN $33.00 & up. RN $38.00 & up. Day Shift-Flexible hours

Key Duties and Responsibilities Supervise Nursing Staff:

Oversee the work of the floor nurses, CNA's, and other support staff. Resident care oversight : The Unit Manager coordinates and supervises all clinical services for the unit's residents. This includes assessing their health status, managing care plans, and making necessary adjustments as conditions change.

Admission and Discharge:

Ensure the admission and discharge processes, including completing assessments, ensuring smooth transitions, and arranging follow-up care are completed.

Medication and Treatments:

Oversee the safe administration of medications and treatments of staff. They may also handle more complex procedures like IV management, or other procedures delegated by the Director of Nursing.

Documentation:

Ensure accurate and complete documentation is maintained daily. Participate in audits as assigned by the director of nursing.

Liaison:

Act as the primary point of contact for residents and their families, addressing questions, concerns, and complaints with empathy and discretion.

Interdisciplinary teamwork:

the Unit Manager collaborates with physicians, therapists, the Director of Nursing and other healthcare team members to coordinate care and achieve organizational goals. Unit Manager will be responsible for all other assignments as delegated by the Director of Nurses.
