San Tan Charter School is seeking a motivated, organized, and hands-on Assistant Athletic Director / Athletics & Facilities Coordinator to join our athletics department. This position supports the Athletic Director in the daily operations of the athletic program while helping maintain athletic facilities, equipment, and event operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-minded, enjoys working with students, coaches, and staff, and is willing to do whatever is needed to help our athletic department operate at a high level. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to frequently lift 50-100 pounds . Ability to stand and remain active for 3-5 hours throughout the workday. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Comfortable performing a variety of hands-on physical tasks. Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a school van or mini bus. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Must successfully pass a background check. Must obtain and maintain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Athletic Department Operations Assist the Athletic Director with the daily operation of the athletic department. Support coaches, student-athletes, and administration with departmental needs. Coordinate event logistics before, during, and after contests. Assist with game management and event operations. Transport teams and equipment using school vehicles as needed. Equipment & Facilities Clean and maintain the athletic building and related facilities. Set up and tear down athletic facilities for practices, games, and special events. Issue, organize, and maintain athletic equipment and uniforms. Help assign lockers and assist with equipment inventory. Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on athletic equipment. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe athletic department. Student & Staff Support Build positive relationships with students, coaches, parents, and staff. Provide supervision of students as assigned. Communicate effectively with coaches and administration to support athletic programs. General Duties Read and follow safety procedures, maintenance instructions, and operational manuals. Carry out written and verbal instructions independently. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and priorities of San Tan Charter School.
