Join Mohave Cannabis Co. as a Cultivation Facility Manager in the beautiful Mohave Valley, AZ, where adventure meets agriculture! You'll lead our cultivation site to hit yield, quality, and compliance targets while building a high-performing team. You'll own production planning, environmental controls, SOP execution, inventory and tracking accuracy, and coordination with post-harvest, QA, and leadership to keep crops on schedule. Your Impact The Cultivation Facility Manager oversees the harvesting, irrigation, and cloning process of the cannabis plants. They inspect and determine plant maturity and assess the environment looking for any notable infestation or abnormalities. They direct operations, assist with cultivation, and monitor the technicians' activities to ensure that business needs and goals are met. What You'll Do (Personnel Duties, Authority, and Responsibilities) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities and projects may be assigned for the overall benefit of the organization. Manage all the tasks in the grow, including planning, cloning, transplanting, fertilizing, topping, cultivating, spraying, harvesting, waste disposal, and inventory management. Manage a large-scale cultivation facility. Ensuring compliance with all state and local laws, rules, and regulations. Overseeing staff training and education to ensure that SOPs, Health and Safety, and good agricultural practices are followed. Responsible for managing the hiring, training, timekeeping, time management, safety, and directing team members to ensure goals are met. Assist with coaching or disciplinary actions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Analyzing budgets and monitoring expenses for cultivation needs. Developing and leading team meetings. Overseeing maintenance of all cultivating equipment. Touring work areas to observe work being done, inspect crops, and evaluate plant and soil conditions. Monitoring activities, such as irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, and cloning, to ensure adherence to safety regulations or standards. Comply with all company policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements. Determining plant growing conditions such as set planting and care schedules. What You Bring (Qualifications) Must be at least 21 years of age. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. A minimum of three (3) years of cultivation experience is required. Previous experience working in management is required. Ability to acquire and maintain a Facility Agent Card through the State. Must have knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing, and harvesting cannabis. Expert knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options. Computer experience is required. Proficient in electronic communication, Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, and Adobe Applications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively. High-level observation skills/ attention to detail. Knowledge of proper safety standards. Flexible scheduling with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Comprehensive knowledge and passion about the Cannabis Industry. The employee is regularly exposed to strong cannabis odors and is frequently required to handle cannabis products. Exposure to environmental particles such as pollen and plant pathogens, fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations water, dry salts allergens, dust, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
