LVN/Wellness Director for

Woodruff Care Home Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

•$2,500 Sign On Bonus, Conditions Apply

•Woodruff Care Home is an 88 bed assisted living facility for the elderly community (59+) located in Bellflower, CA. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate LVN/Wellness Director to join our team. The LVN is primarily responsible for the wellness and care provided to our residents and the oversight of the Wellness department including the training and continued education of all direct care support staff members within our facility. Qualifications (non-negotiable): Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing Able to pass pre employment physical and drug screening High school diploma or GED Flexible availability. Schedule is typically Mon-Fri but due to the nature of the position it may include weekends and holidays. Experience with medication administration Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

License Job Description:

Responsible for the overall wellness of the residents Administer medication in accordance to Title 22 regulations of the California Administrative Code Provide orientation, initial, and continued education training to new medication technicians and direct care staff members Assist with the admittance and eviction process of residents. Provide support to administrator with resident transfers and/or challenges Monitor resident's medication administration records and report any errors to the Administrator. Progressive documentation and communication with physician and/or medical professional Order and reorder medication for residents, following explicit physician instructions. Ensure residents stay stress free as much as possible by working with medical professionals Maintains good composure during emergencies Additional duties as assigned by Administration We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full time employees including affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance.
