Top Billing Entertainment is hiring a Facilities & Operations Manager to help keep our academy, storage spaces, rentals, costumes, props, and daily operations running smoothly. This is a new position and will be a hands-on, hourly position for someone who is dependable, organized, resourceful, comfortable working around children and families, and willing to jump in wherever needed in a busy performing arts environment. Responsibilities include overseeing the general care, safety, cleanliness, and organization of our facility; completing basic maintenance and repairs such as changing lights, tightening hardware, assembling furniture, minor painting, and troubleshooting building concerns; identifying projects that require licensed professionals; tracking repair and supply needs; and assisting with room setup, events, productions, load-ins, and load-outs. This position will also help manage our storage unit and rental inventory by organizing sets, props, costumes, equipment, and supplies; preparing rental items; coordinating pickups and returns; inspecting items for damage; tracking missing pieces; cleaning and repacking materials; and assisting with transportation between the academy, storage unit, theaters, and rental locations. Applicants should also be comfortable assisting with basic costume and prop preparation. This may include hand and machine sewing, hemming, replacing buttons, attaching closures, completing minor repairs and alterations, steaming costumes, assisting with fittings, and labeling, organizing, packing, painting, and repairing costumes, props, and production materials. The Facilities & Operations Manager will provide front desk and office support as needed, including welcoming families, answering questions, assisting with check-in, responding to basic emails and phone calls, helping with registration and scheduling, supporting client billing and payment follow-up, and maintaining accurate records. This position will specifically provide front desk coverage on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-9:30 p.m. during the Fall 2026 semester. Applicants should have experience in facilities, maintenance, operations, office management, theatrical production, costuming, customer service, or a related field. Candidates must be able to safely use common hand and power tools, complete basic sewing and repairs, work independently, prioritize urgent needs, communicate clearly, and manage multiple responsibilities. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between locations are required. Applicants must also be able to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs or ladders, work in storage areas, lift up to 50 pounds, and move production materials with or without reasonable accommodation.
Compensation:
$20-$25 per hour during a 90-day introductory period. Following a successful review, the rate may increase to approximately $25-$30 per hour based on performance, experience, organizational needs, and available funding.
Schedule:
Approximately 20-30 hours per week, including occasional evenings, weekends, productions, and special events. Hours may vary depending on the academy calendar and production schedule.
