Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Front of House Team Member to join our restaurant. This role combines cashier, server, and front counter responsibilities to ensure every guest receives fast, accurate, and exceptional service. The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming dining experience. Key Responsibilities Greet every guest with a warm and friendly attitude. Take customer orders accurately in person and over the phone. Process cash, credit card, and digital payments using the POS system. Answer customer questions and make menu recommendations. Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally. Ensure orders are accurate before handing them to guests or delivering to tables. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, front counter, beverage station, and restrooms. Refill condiments, utensils, and supplies as needed. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and stocking. Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to provide excellent service. Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude with a strong customer service mindset. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Preferred Skills Experience using POS systems. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
