HIPAA. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Facilities and Safety Coordinator's purpose at Gemini is to effectively coordinate and oversee vendors to ensure the facilities are maintained appropriately. The Safety and Facility Coordinator will perform light maintenance and related duties associated with onboarding; replacing/maintaining lights, desk, keys, appliances, equipment, carpeting, and overall office appearance. Additionally, the Facilities and Safety Coordinator is responsible for maintaining Gemini's Safety Program in accordance with policies, rules, and regulations. Other duties include maintaining the office chore schedule, assisting in Mail & Record Review when needed, assisting Marketing with maintaining and shipping inventory, assisting Culture Club with snack bar inventory/money, oversee all box scanning projects, maintaining off site storage facility for equipment/furniture/box scanning needs, etc. As a member of the IT department, the Safety and Facilities Coordinator is an organized, communicative, patient, and compassionate contributor.

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Compensation:
$70,304
  • 84,000 Annually The pay range for this role is $70,304
  • 84,000. Starting pay for new hires is typically within the lower third of the range: $70,304
  • 79,435.
Exceptions may be made based on factors such as education, specialized skills, or significant relevant experience.
Requirements:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining relationships, company accounts, and contact info of facilities vendors Respond to facility issues as they arise, whether by direct communication, ticketing form, email, etc. Onboarding responsibilities
  • introduce new hires to the office, security, evacuation and safety protocols, etc.
Enforce and update Gemini's Safety Program in accordance with policies, rules and regulations Maintain office appliances Maintain the office chore schedule Maintain the office snack bar inventory and funds Manage offsite storage facilities Assist in maintaining Marketing inventory and shipping Box scanning jobs as they arise Provide support for Mail & Record Review when needed Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING
Education and/or experience: High School diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of progressive experience in a related position] Experience leading small teams is a plus Handyman/general contractor experience a plus
Skills:
Advanced time management and organizational skills Doer mentality, problem solving Strong verbal and written communication skills Presentation and public speaking Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail Ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
Technology:
Proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
Other:
Clean driving record Experience working in an office setting Exceptional teamwork
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including, but not limited to: Lifting, bending, standing, climbing or walking while carrying out assigned duties Lift, push, pull (35-50 lbs.) Sitting for at least one hour at a time (total: 2-4 hours/day) Keyboarding for extended periods of time (total: 4-6 hours/day) Using a phone with or without a headset for extended periods (total: 1-2 hours/day) Driving for extended periods of time, up to 4-6 hours in a day and up to 100-200 miles per day. Only necessary on the rare occasion that travel to our Salinas or Santa Cruz office is necessary. Travel to West Covina would primarily require airplane travel, only if necessary. TRAVEL Travel may be required for this position up to 25% of working hours
