Here's what you'll do:Plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and evaluates the work flow of Facilities maintenance staff, contractors and service providers.
Develops, implements and monitors work plans to achieve goals and objectives.
Contributes to the development of and monitors performance against the annual department and operations goals.
Supervises and participates in developing, implementing and evaluating plans, work processes, systems and procedures to achieve annual goals, objectives and work standards. Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the performance of staff.
Establishes performance requirements and personal development targets.
Regularly monitors performance and provides coaching for performance improvement and development.
Recommends compensation and provides other rewards to recognize performance.
Takes necessary action to address performance deficiencies.
Provides day-to-day leadership and works with staff to ensure a high performance, customer service-oriented work environment that supports achieving the companys mission, objectives and values regarding quality and team building.
Applies process improvement and quality Prepares a variety of special and recurring studies and reports.
Develops recommendations to improve the maintenance, repair, functionality and appearance of buildings, facilities and grounds.
Coordinates facilities activities with other departments and agencies.
Ensures compliance of unit work to pertinent codes, regulations and guidelines.
Participates in developing and administering contracts for the construction or improvement of all facilities.
Prepares bids, specifications, agenda items and cost estimates.
Reviews all changes to current building/facility drawings.
Reads and interprets drawings for construction.
Approves final design changes prior to bid.
Directs, coordinates and monitors construction inspection activities to ensure conformance to contract requirements, specifications and standards.
Acts as liaison with contractors.
Monitors progress of construction according to contract schedules.
Enforces compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Coordinates and conducts final inspections.
Reviews and approves contractor invoices for payment.
Analyzes complex operational and administrative problems, evaluate alternatives and recommend or implement effective courses of action.
Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, work standards and management controls.
Work with Software/Hardware.
Qualifications:
5+ years of supervisory experience in one of the following: construction, maintenance, repair and general property management of commercial buildings within a corporate environment.Bachelors degree preferred. Mechanical and/or HVAC experience is required.
