PRC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and implements an effective strategy for growth and efficiency of operations in the resort and casino for Central Plants, Co-Generation, Landscape, Maintenance, and Wastewater Management. Regularly reviews and evaluates departmental performance, working through department heads to take appropriate steps in resolving unsatisfactory results or conditions. Ensures compliance with all appropriate laws and regulations. Responsible for accurate environmentally sensitive record keeping and reporting to applicable government agencies. Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to their span of control. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the organization. Maintain a professional departmental, company, and community reputation. Plan, direct, and evaluate all phases of property maintenance management, scheduled and non-scheduled, and all phases of property cleaning, and housekeeping. Responsible for adherence to health, fire, and safety regulations. Other duties as assigned.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Director of Facilities has managerial responsibilities including departmental hiring, corrective actions, terminations, Team Member relation issues, forecasting, and budgeting. ________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; and a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in operation and maintenance of an equivalent campus like facility; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required to successful perform this job.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
This position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. This position also requires the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. The position also requires the ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. The ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors is required as well.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
This position requires the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. The position also requires the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
This position requires the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. The position also requires the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and work with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must qualify to obtain and maintain a class "A" gaming license. EPA section 608 certification, type universal. Valid California Driver's License.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Central Plant/Cogeneration facility and wastewater management experience required. CAD experience preferred. Manages all Central Plant, Co-Generation, Landscape, Maintenance, and Wastewater treatment personnel. Good organization and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively with all employees and facility management personnel. Efficient with Microsoft based programs. Positive attitude. Professional demeanor. Ability to work under stressful situations. Must be a self-starter who is highly motivated and resourceful. Must be able to work with a positive attitude in a fast paced and culturally diverse casino environment. Must be able to take direction and follow through with assigned tasks. Must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
