The Opportunity. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical operations and shape a culture of excellence. As the clinical leader of our Skilled Nursing Facility, you won't just be managing staff—you will be an essential partner to the Administrator in driving clinical outcomes, optimizing facility operations, and fostering a collaborative, highly motivated workplace. If you are a dedicated, problem-solving RN who excels at team building, survey readiness, and delivering compassionate patient care, we want you to open our doors and lead our team. What You Will Do Clinical Leadership & Team Development Direct, mentor, and evaluate all nursing personnel (RNs, LVNs, CNAs), fostering a positive and efficient working environment. Guide staffing strategies and collaborate with administration to optimize census management and monitor clinical overtime. Set clear objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department, ensuring staff are motivated and empowered to do their best work. Survey Readiness & Quality of Care Lead the interdisciplinary team through successful CDPH annual surveys, ensuring continuous state and federal compliance. Develop, enforce, and maintain policies that uphold Title 22 regulations and the highest quality care standards. Actively resolve clinical issues and implement proactive quality improvement plans. Operational Excellence Organize and coordinate seamless admission, nursing, and patient care procedures. Champion efficient clinical workflows and manage record-keeping utilizing modern EHR platforms, such as PointClickCare . Collaborate across departments to control budgets, monitor clinical expenditures, and ensure the overall financial health of the facility. What You Bring to the
Table Experience:
3+ years of proven leadership experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility (Required).
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Title 22 procedures for SNF patient care, legal regulations, and healthcare best practices.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, organizational, and stress management skills with a natural aptitude for problem-solving.
Education:
Degree in Nursing.
Licensure:
