ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor facilities, property and equipment on a regular basis for overall condition and safety. Implement and maintain work order systems for all major locations. Make recommendations for improvements, general maintenance and repairs. Perform minor repairs, improvements, and general upkeep including but not limited to landscaping, snow removal, furniture moving and storage, painting, office relocation, etc. Secure and monitor all maintenance-related contracts. Oversee all security systems. Obtain bids in accordance with Agency Fiscal policies and oversee all renovation/facility improvement projects. Oversee all file storage and shredding. Monitor all storage facilities. Interface w/ appropriate Early Childhood staff to ensure that all facility-related licensing issues are met. Monitor all emergency repairs at Agency locations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc. in a cost conscious manner. Track all maintenance requests. Arrange for all necessary repairs. Maintain list of approved vendors. Issue reports on projects, status and costs as needed. Develop and administer annual maintenance budget for all locations. Oversee all janitorial contracts and services to ensure cleanliness of all locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
H.S Diploma or equivalent, Trade/technical school preferred
EXPERIENCE
5+ years w/ facility management exp.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Knowledge of facility issues such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, ability to handle basic facility repairs and improvements, computer skills, reliable transportation. and the ability to work flexible hours.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: The ability to sit, walk, stand, climb and bend. The ability to lift 50+ lbs.
