Job Description

We are currently seeking a Manager of Facilities who oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Their duties include performing routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising Facilities Maintenance Workers.
UCFS Hours of Operation:
Open 8:00am - 7:00pm;
Hours Vary By Day & Location Expected Schedule:
FT, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday On Call Shared Within the Department Outline of Duties and Responsibilities - Develops a comprehensive facilities plan that guides organizational infrastructure toward operational excellence and long-term viability with overarching business goals. Works collaboratively with VP of Business Development to establish the maintenance budget and capital budget. Helps build environments that promote productivity and well-being by engaging in space planning which will enhance employee satisfaction, collaboration, and performance, ultimately contributing to organizational success. Leads day-to-day facilities operations. Inspects buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations and recommend upgrades and modification as needed. Schedules routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors Operates snow removal equipment such as plows, spreaders, and snow blowers to clear snow from walkways and parking lots. Completes pre-storm preparations, applying de-icing agents, and maintaining equipment during winter weather conditions; ensures that all winter weather hazards resulting in slips, trips or falls are eliminated. Required to work additional hours including evening, weekends, and holidays if needed for snow removal. Why UCFS?
