Publix is seeking a strategic and driven professional to lead the development and approval process of new and redeveloped stores and shopping centers across our growing footprint. As a New Store Project Manager, you'll oversee multimillion-dollar projects, manage commercial developers and their consultants, external design and engineering professionals, officers and sometimes C-suite leaders to create exceptional shopping experiences for our customers. The primary responsibilities of this position are: manage the design and development of new Publix store locations and shopping centers, ensuring compliance with lease requirements, Publix standards, and industry design guidelines. lead commercial developers and internal and external design partners to drive projects forward efficiently and effectively through both confidential and non-confidential phases of development coordinate production, approvals, and document management for all shopping center project documents throughout the life of the project participate in design development by managing scope, timelines, consultant partnerships, cross-functional coordination, and design execution to support successful project delivery serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the new store development process for internal and external entities
