A Facilities Manager manages the facilities of a company or organization, including buildings and grounds, equipment, supplies and staff. Oversees maintenance and security of facilities; oversees renovation projects and monitors work to improve energy efficiency, productivity or employee safety. May work in manufacturing and production, or manage hotels, small apartment buildings, trailer parks or recreational facilities.
We are representing an opportunity for a Facilities Manager to support a multi-site portfolio and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly across a wide service area. Our team is looking for a candidate who can coordinate vendors, manage building-related work, and help ensure consistent service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Oversee facilities management activities across multiple locations and serve as a single point of contact for site-related coordination. Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors while ensuring service delivery aligns with client and company standards. Support reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance tracking for monthly, quarterly, and annual facilities needs. Build effective working relationships with property managers, landlords, and service partners while responding to operational issues and emergency coverage needs.
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management or technical emphasis. 5+ years of industry experience in a corporate environment, third-party service provider setting, or consulting environment. Strong leadership, management, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage both technical and administrative staff, and proficiency with MS programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Computer proficiency in CMMS systems. Ability to support an on-site schedule with travel by car and emergency on-call coverage as needed.
