Growing industrial manufacturer is looking for a Facilities Manager . This person will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating facility operations to support a safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing environment. This role oversees building systems, utilities, maintenance coordination, contractor activity, facility improvements, and compliance-related activities for a growing industrial operation. The Facilities Manager partners with production, maintenance, engineering, EHS, and leadership to ensure the facility infrastructure supports business continuity, employee safety, and long-term operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including building systems, utilities, grounds, and general infrastructure to support safe and reliable plant operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and repair activities related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, compressed air, fire protection, and other critical facility systems.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs, contractor schedules, and service records for facility-related equipment and infrastructure.
• Lead facility improvement projects, space planning, layout adjustments, and capital-related modifications to support operational growth and efficiency.
• Monitor building conditions and coordinate corrective actions to ensure a safe, compliant, and well-maintained working environment.
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and EHS teams to resolve facility issues that may impact safety, uptime, or business continuity.
• Manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers, including scope definition, scheduling, cost control, and work quality follow-up.
• Support facility budgeting, cost planning, and purchase recommendations for repairs, equipment, services, and infrastructure needs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, company, and local regulatory requirements related to facility operation and maintenance.
• Maintain facility records, maintenance logs, contractor documentation, inspection reports, and project updates for leadership review.
• Support emergency response readiness and provide after-hours support as needed for urgent facility issues or business-critical events.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement across the facilities function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, industrial maintenance, business, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems, utilities, maintenance coordination, and industrial facility operations.
• Ability to plan and prioritize facility repairs, preventive maintenance, vendor support, and improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements that apply to industrial buildings and support systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, contractor management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance, facilities, or work order tracking systems.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings, specifications, and facility-related documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations with exposure to maintenance, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949-certified manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Experience managing contractors, capital projects, and preventive maintenance programs is preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building support systems in an industrial setting

Pay:

$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
