Position Summary The Facilities Manager organizes, and performs maintenance across multiple agency sites. This includes preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, vendor coordination, and seasonal tasks. The role also oversees the agency's vehicle fleet—ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and ready for use, while training staff on proper procedures. Key Responsibilities Facilities Maintenance & Operations
  • Perform and oversee routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
  • Identify and report safety issues or major repair needs.
  • Coordinate vendor and contractor services as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and service schedules.
  • Provide on-call support for after-hours emergencies. Fleet Management
  • Oversee all aspects of The Nemasket Group's vehicle fleet.
  • Coordinate routine and preventative vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Track service schedules, warranties, inspections, and registrations.
  • Train staff on vehicle safety, use, and reporting procedures.
  • Maintain fleet logs, mileage tracking, and maintenance records. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, or property management; fleet experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Department of Development Services regulations and requirements a plus.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems.
  • Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and cleaning agents.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel between multiple agency sites daily.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursement available).
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
