Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Facility Operations Manager for a high-visibility, 100% on-site contract opportunity supporting a public sector courthouse facility in Ellicott City, MD. This role is ideal for a senior facilities leader who brings strong technical knowledge, disciplined contract management, and the ability to guide maintenance operations in a mission-critical environment. The Facility Operations Manager will serve as the primary on-site liaison for stakeholders, oversee day-to-day facility operations, manage CMMS data and reporting, administer vendor and subcontractor performance, and lead preventive maintenance and lifecycle planning efforts. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for client stakeholders, operational issues, contract matters, financial concerns, and facility service expectations. Lead facility staff, including supervision, coaching, hiring support, performance management, training, recognition, and team development. Manage operating budgets, financial forecasts, monthly operational reporting, and contract performance goals. Oversee subcontractors and vendors, including contract administration, KPI monitoring, safety compliance, quality control, and cost management. Maintain accurate CMMS records, preventive maintenance documentation, repair justifications, extension requests, and relief event documentation. Direct facility operations, asset lifecycle planning, emergency response coordination, and maintenance of MEP, HVAC, BAS, fire alarm, security, and access control systems.
Compensation and Benefits Compensation:
$50.00 to $52.00 per hour.
