REQUIREMENTS

Required Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree + 5 or more years of relevant field experienceAssociate degree + 7 or more years of relevant field experienceNo degree + 7 or more years of relevant field experience and preferred certification(s)

Preferred Certifications:

CFM Certified Facility ManagerCHFM Certified Healthcare Facility ManagerCSP Certified Safety ProfessionalCHSP Certified Healthcare Safety ProfessionalAdditional Requirements:

Ability to effectively multi-taskAbility to think clearly and calmly in stressful situationsAbility and willingness to work flexible schedules to provide coordination across multiple campuses and shiftsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Facilities plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of all the facilities of Aspire Rural Health System in accordance with established policies, procedures and applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The Director of Facilities provides leadership and oversight to managers and other leadership Aspire departments. The primary purpose of the position is to develop and administer programs to maintain the buildings and grounds, and equipment in accordance with applicable state and local regulations and administrative guidelines. May serve as a liaison between administrators and contractors, engineers, and equipment suppliers. To ensure that an effective preventative maintenance program is established, maintained documented and managed. Other duties as assigned.
