Our client, a global facilities management and real estate services organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Operations Department supporting the Engineering, Maintenance, and Site Utilities Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, independent decision-making ability, and leadership/mentoring experience, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
Mon-Fri ( 7am-3:30pm ) - rotating every 7 weeks. What's the Job? Max of 5 Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, valves, and related distribution systems. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the operation of critical building systems, including refrigeration, emergency backup systems, and mechanical/electrical equipment. Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of utility equipment, including air compressors, air handling units, rooftop HVAC units, water systems, and chemical inventories. Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) while maintaining compliance with safety procedures and work permits. Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians while assisting with major repairs and maintenance projects. What's Needed? Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with industrial or commercial HVAC systems; residential-only experience is not acceptable. EPA Universal Certification (required). Experience servicing large-scale equipment, including chillers up to 1,000 tons, steam boilers up to 37.5 MMBTU, and water boiler systems. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience rebuilding pumps, troubleshooting complex systems, and performing preventive maintenance. Basic computer proficiency and experience utilizing CMMS software, along with the ability to support rotating weekend and on-call schedules. What's in it for me?
