You'll perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing and general mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. What you'll do Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as minor plumbing repairs, drain cleanings, minor HVAC repairs, emergency response, cleanup work, painting and wall patching. Drive a lift to perform cleaning, dusting, and light bulb changing. Perform janitorial work including spot cleaning, window washing, restroom maintenance and trash handling Perform light carpentry and electrical work as well as roof inspections. Tracks work orders and other key documentation. Manages parts and tool inventory. Basic Qualifications 2 years of experience with basic electrical, plumbing, painting and preventative maintenance management 2 years of experience using communication and problem-solving skills 3 years of maintenance or related experience Current, valid driver's license Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.) Be at least 21 years of age Acquire gain and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire Able to push up to 100 pounds and carry up to 75 pounds What's in it for you We're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
