Opportunity:

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Facilities Specialist to help maintain and support the daily operations of a nonprofit organization where they deliver food pantry for those in need. This individual will perform general maintenance, custodial, and grounds keeping tasks to ensure the facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for staff, volunteers, and community members. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the church and food pantry facilities
• Assist with custodial duties, including: Taking out trash and recycling, Sweeping, mopping, and keeping workspaces clean, Cleaning common areas as needed
• Perform outdoor maintenance and grounds keeping tasks, including: Cutting grass / lawn care, Shoveling snow or salting walkways (seasonally, if applicable), Picking up litter and maintaining outdoor spaces
• Support food pantry operations when needed, including moving donations, organizing supplies, or setting up/taking down tables and equipment
• Be available for on-call tasks or urgent maintenance needs outside of regular scheduled hours
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support church operations What makes you a great fit:

• Basic knowledge of tools and minor repair work
