Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of Trinity. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing effective maintenance procedures. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in facility operations and promote safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional passionate about facilities management and team leadership. Responsibilities Manage and supervise custodians to ensure timely and effective repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Monitor preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime. Oversee troubleshooting and repair mechanical systems, including HVAC. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by training staff on safety procedures, and maintaining accurate safety documentation. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, managing timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships to ensure successful completion. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety incidents. Order building supplies and recommend contracts with vendors. Monitor facility operations continuously to identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Skills Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with strong team leadership skills. Knowledge of maintenance skills (i.e. electrical, plumbing, etc...), able to lift 75 pounds and able to work off ladders. Must have or acquire a Minnesota 2nd class C low-pressure license. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols in manufacturing or industrial settings. Excellent project management and organizational skills to oversee multiple maintenance projects simultaneously while managing resources efficiently. Self motivated with a high sense of personal and business ethics. Effective communication skills to coordinate with teams, contractors, and vendors seamlessly.
