Gist:
Wolfspeed is seeking Facilities Chiller Technician to join the Facilities team in our Durham campuses supporting 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing operations. We want you to apply your relevant expertise to a challenging work environment where you can make a real difference in the day-to-day operations of a high-tech electronics and semiconductor manufacturing operation. You will be able to solve complex problems with little supervision, allowing you to make decisions on how and when a project is completed. Preferred Skills Skilled and safety-conscious Centrifugal Chiller Technician with 5+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing large-scale HVAC and refrigeration systems. Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, optimize system efficiency, and ensure compliance with EPA and ASHRAE standards. Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists, includes standing or walking over hard concrete surface, and climbing ladders Ability to wear fall protection if required

Centrifugal, Package AC, Split systems
Technical Expertise:
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, and knowledge in System Overhauls, Compressor Rebuilds, and strong troubleshooting ability
Diagnostics & Repair:
Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Leak Detection, Electrical Troubleshooting Tools & Software:
Multimeters, Micron Gauges, VFD Controllers, BAS/BMS Interfaces Compliance & Safety:
EPA 608
Certification, OSHA Safety Standards, ASHRAE Guidelines Additional Skills:
Blueprint Reading, Pipefitting, Brazing, Refrigerant Recovery, Procedure writing and modifications, Record keeping, Scheduling vendors.
