Job Description

Summary The Corporate Facilities Specialist will join a collaborative team which operates out of Buckle's home office in Kearney, Nebraska. This teammate must be comfortable working in an office setting fielding calls, answering emails, and communicating with Buckle stores to coordinate the maintenance of existing stores. The Facilities Specialist will help stores to identify HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance issues and coordinate resolution with onsite professionals as needed. Facilities Operations and Support Communicate with Buckle retail stores on maintenance needs; investigate and provide solutions in a timely manner. Create work orders from the database to dispatch vendors for repairs and maintenance and follow to completion. Maintain database to ensure it is current and up to date. Help Teammates troubleshoot problems at store locations. Ship and track miscellaneous parts from Kearney to the stores. Approve invoices in database. Manage the facility inventory and assist in the facility software data entry. Primary contact for 90-100 store locations. Assist and coordinate with construction department. Team Support & Emergency Response Assist other Facility Specialists with covering their stores when absent. Carry on-call phone while on rotation. General Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit. Special projects and other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training, prior retail maintenance experience a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
