Job Description
Monitor and review work orders and incoming requests. Work with dispatcher on getting the work orders assigned. Assess and spec parts & materials needed on work orders for procurement. Follow up and monitor workload performance with technicians. Coordinate with contractors on estimates and for the completion of work in house. Completing ILSM permits for contractors and maintenance work. Assist in safety checks, ISLM's, egress, construction rounds, life safety inspections, training & fire drills. Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the facility in good repair. Minor maintenance, repairs and other duties are the primary duties. Assists the Facilities Department with plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance. Participates in performance improvement (PI) activities. Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner to reflect the highest integrity of the Facilities Department. Keeps work order load distributed to technicians within our computer maintenance management system and follows up on work getting completed by keeping the work order back log to a minimum Maintain regulatory requirements by becoming knowledgeable and understands the code books affiliated with the medical facilties. Works with contractors on estimates and the performance of work completed by contractor to insure there is no unexpected down time to KRMC campus due to the contractor. Works with contractors on ISLMs and insures that contractor is following the ISLM to minimize any infection control issues. Performs urgent corrective routine and requisitioned repairs of minor problems with the electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems as required. Notifies manager if major repairs are required. Performs maintenance duties to all physical structures of facility and complies with all building safety codes. This is to include facility equipment and associated controls. Assists in replacing, repairing and testing electrical circuits, equipment, appliances and lighting systems as required. Maintains routine records of all inspections and maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system within our computer maintenance management system Performs manual duties as requested (i.e., moving supplies or furniture, replacing light bulbs, removing trash or scrap material). Assist with minor snow removal. Shared on call status with the facilities team for trouble calls on a rotating basis after hours. Any other duties that may be assigned by the Facilities Manager and accepts other duties as requested.
Regulatory Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. Prefer 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Similar remote jobs
