Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8-Hour Shifts (Occasional Weekends as Needed) Join a Team That Makes a Difference The Autism Center of Nebraska (ACN) is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Facilities Administrator to support our mission of enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for maintaining and improving ACN-owned and operated facilities through preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and coordination with outside contractors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and repair projects across multiple ACN locations. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues involving basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general facility systems. Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure facilities remain safe and operational. Coordinate and communicate with specialized contractors and service providers when needed. Monitor facility conditions and identify areas requiring repair or improvement. Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance work and projects. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related emergencies. Assist with facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards. Prioritize multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines. Travel between ACN worksites as needed. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Experience in general home repair, maintenance, or a related trade. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer service skills. A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between worksites. Willingness to promote and adhere to ACN's core values and mission Requirements Must be at least 19 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must possess a valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance. Must have reliable transportation. Must successfully pass all required background checks.
