License required (City of Pittsburgh requirement) CFC Refrigeration License required Strong HVACR experience required Strong leadership and management experience required Minimum 2 years of refrigeration repair experience, including refrigerant recovery Experience leading engineering, maintenance, or facilities teams Experience working with chillers, air handlers, fan coils, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical systems Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building systems Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members Assistant Director of Facilities Preferred Background & Skills Luxury hotel, resort, or full-service hotel experience Assistant Director of Engineering, Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager, Facilities Manager, or Facilities Supervisor background Experience managing preventative maintenance programs Vendor and contractor coordination experience Building automation systems experience preferred Knowledge of fire alarm and life safety systems Experience working in union environments preferred Strong guest-service mindset Stable career progression and strong tenure preferred Additional Information This role is ideal for a technically strong facilities leader who enjoys leading from the front, developing engineering talent, and supporting a luxury guest experience through operational excellence.
