The self-storage industry has proven to be one of the most stable industries in the US economy. 4217 Storage Management is a fast-growing self-storage management company with locations throughout Oregon, Maine, Massachusetts, New Mexico, and Texas. Let's take a look at some of the job duties required by our facility managers. Being a self-storage facility manager means managing the day-to-day operations of the local self-storage facility.
Essential Functions:
Meet gross revenue targets set forth by the company ownership, through effective sales and marketing activities. Maintain designated office hours. Provide outstanding customer service in person, via email, social media and via telephone. Solicit Google and social media reviews. Maintain professional, courteous relationships with existing and prospective customers, company vendors, community business members and company staff. Maintain operational and financial reporting and bookkeeping systems provided by employer real time and accurate. Daily surveillance of property to ensure protection of customers' stored possessions, as well as company property and buildings. Keep property and vacant units clean and in good repair at all times. Make bank deposits, purchase supplies and services as needed. Complete any collection activities that may be required of delinquent accounts. Any other duties designated by your Area Manager. The physical requirements of the job would encompass being able to bend, twist, lift, walk, etc. Keeping the property well maintained and clean is a daily task. Hours will be Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with an hour lunch
