This position supports three treatment centers totaling approximately 39,000 square feet. Travel between locations during the workday will be performed using an Another Chance company vehicle. This is more than a basic cleaning position. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, notices what needs attention, can work independently, and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional facilities. What You'll Do Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, group rooms, common areas, kitchens, breakrooms, and other assigned spaces. Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard-surface flooring. Empty trash and recycling and replace liners. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces. Perform scheduled deep cleaning and respond to spills or other sanitation needs. Restock restroom, kitchen, and janitorial supplies. Maintain organized janitorial closets and storage areas. Monitor cleaning and facility supply inventory. Conduct routine facility walkthroughs and report maintenance or safety concerns. Assist with room setup, furniture movement, basic assembly, and other facility-support tasks. Maintain consistent cleanliness standards across all three locations. Driving & Company Vehicle Requirement Regular travel between Portland Eastside, Portland Westside, and Gresham is an essential function of this position. An Another Chance company vehicle is provided for authorized work-related travel between facilities. Applicants must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment driving record screening and company-driver approval process. Continued employment in this position requires maintaining an acceptable driving record and eligibility to operate an Another Chance company vehicle. Who We're Looking For Able to reliably report to work for a 5:00 AM start time. Dependable, punctual, honest, and trustworthy. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean facilities. Another Chance Drug & Alcohol Rehab Center Able to work independently without constant supervision. Able to identify what needs to be done and take initiative. Comfortable prioritizing responsibilities across multiple locations. Respectful of client and employee privacy, confidentiality, and personal property. Professional when working around clients, employees, visitors, and vendors. Previous commercial cleaning, custodial, housekeeping, or facilities experience is preferred. Compensation & Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week. The normal workday begins at 5:00 AM. Specific workdays, ending times, and location assignments are established by Operations based on facility needs. Overtime is not regularly scheduled and requires advance management authorization. All hours actually worked will be compensated in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour requirements.
