A-Spot Program Director/Facility Director Job Summary The Program Director/Facility Director oversees the comprehensive administration and operational management of an inpatient substance-use disorder treatment facility. This leadership role involves coordinating all aspects of program development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure the delivery of safe, ethical, and effective services. The director provides strategic guidance to ensure compliance with federal, state, licensing, accreditation, contractual, and organizational standards. The position requires a proactive leader committed to maintaining high-quality care and fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the inpatient treatment facility, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Provide leadership and supervision to clinical and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and compliant work environment. Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment programs to meet organizational goals and industry standards. Ensure all services are delivered safely, ethically, and effectively in accordance with applicable regulations and accreditation requirements. Coordinate program activities with external agencies, licensing bodies, and stakeholders to maintain compliance and promote community engagement. Monitor quality assurance processes and implement improvements based on data-driven evaluations. Manage facility resources effectively, including staffing, budgeting, and supplies. Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance program growth and sustainability. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant federal, state, licensing, accreditation standards, and best practices in substance-use disorder treatment. Address operational challenges proactively while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Report incidents, suspected abuse/neglect, safety hazards, impairment, boundary concerns, privacy breaches, and changes in client condition according to law and policy. Coordinate with medical/nursing staff in 3.7-WM while preserving professional scopes. Monitor ratios, caseloads, timeliness, evidence-informed practice, and corrective action. Participate in orientation, supervision, staff meetings, emergency drills, quality improvement, annual training planning, and performance evaluation. Review assessments, plans, progress notes, ASAM reviews, discharge work, and clinical risk decisions. All other duties assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, psychology, or a related field +3 years clinical/1 year direct SUD; a master's degree is preferred + 2 years clinical/1 year direct SUD . Proven experience in managing healthcare or behavioral health programs, preferably within substance-use disorder treatment settings. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multidisciplinary teams. Excellent knowledge of federal, state, licensing, accreditation standards related to inpatient treatment facilities. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple priorities simultaneously. Effective communication skills for liaising with staff, patients, regulatory agencies, and community partners. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and patient-centered care. Ability to analyze data for quality improvement initiatives and operational decision-making.
