Job Description

Position Summary The Facilities & Operational Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of Foothills Community Health Care's Day to day maintenance and operational support activities. The position coordinates vendor scheduling, facility maintenance, operational supply ordering, biomedical equipment service scheduling, and fixed asset tracking under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer. The role emphasizes coordination, organization, customer service and follow-through. This position coordinates the day-to-day maintenance activities of all Foothills facilities, including Anderson, Clemson, Easley, associated pharmacies, mobile health units, and future expansion locations. The Facilities Manager serves as a resource for facility operations, safety, maintenance, purchasing coordination, biomedical equipment management, capital asset accountability, and vendor performance while ensuring facilities remain safe, efficient, compliant, and supportive of high-quality patient care. The position works collaboratively with Administration, Clinical Leadership, Finance, Information Technology, Pharmacy, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Human Resources to support organizational goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Facility Operations
  • Perform routine inspections of all Foothills facilities.
  • Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance with approved vendors.
  • Track maintenance requests and work orders through completion.
  • Maintain facility appearance and operational readiness.
  • Report maintenance issues requiring capital improvements to the CFO. Vendor and Contract Management
  • Schedule service vendors and maintain vendor contact information.
  • Track service contract renewal dates.
  • Obtain quotes for maintenance services as requested.
  • Verify work completion before invoices are submitted for approval. Supplies and Inventory
  • Coordinate ordering of office, maintenance, and facility supplies.
  • Maintain supply inventory levels and organize storage areas.
  • Coordinate deliveries and distribution between clinic locations. Fixed Asset Support
  • Maintain equipment inventory records and asset locations.
  • Assist Finance with the annual physical inventory of depreciable assets.
  • Track equipment moves, warranty information, and surplus equipment. Biomedical Equipment Management
  • Maintain service schedules for biomedical equipment.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs with contracted vendors.
  • Maintain equipment service records and notify departments of scheduled maintenance. Safety and Regulatory Compliance
  • Conduct monthly facility safety walkthroughs.
  • Report safety concerns and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Maintain records for fire inspections, generator testing, and other scheduled facility inspections. Fleet and Mobile Assets Coordinate maintenance and operation of organizational vehicles including:
  • Mobile Medical Unit
  • Company vehicles
  • Vehicle maintenance Security Coordinate physical security for all facilities.

  • Contracted service providers Provides directions to outside contractors working within Foothills facilities. Qualifications Education Associate's degree in business, Facilities, Maintenance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted. Experience Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in:
  • Multi-site facilities management
  • Healthcare operations
  • Vendor management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of basic building systems and maintenance coordination.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and contractors. Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking between departments and facilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to travel between all Foothills locations.
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends during emergency situations. Performance Expectations
  • Timely completion of work orders
  • Preventive maintenance schedules mainatained.
  • Annual fixed asset inventory completed with Finance
  • Biomedical equipment inspections coordinated on schedule.
  • Positive customer service and vendor responsiveness
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
