Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for managing maintenance teams, ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems are functioning optimally, and implementing safety regulations across the site. The ideal candidate is someone with strong leadership skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a passion for maintaining safe and well-managed facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead facility operations that support our organizational goals. Duties Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Also some IT experience is a plus! Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures following safety regulations and industry standards. Oversee the management of facilities maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and HVAC systems using schematics, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring they meet safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, including OSHA standards, and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities. Lead efforts in industrial maintenance tasks such as HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical systems repair. Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations while managing facilities management operations efficiently. Collaborate with other departments to plan space utilization and facility improvements aligned with organizational needs. Experience Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams or similar operational groups. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing maintenance, and industrial troubleshooting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation or manufacturing environments. Experience working with CMMS software for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards related to industrial maintenance and facilities management. Skilled in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and using testing instruments like ohmmeters, voltmeters, and multimeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Demonstrated project management capabilities to oversee multiple maintenance projects simultaneously while managing budgets and timelines effectively. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination. Pay:
$65,957.77 - $70,000.00 per year
