Yes About the Role MDC is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, reliability, safety, and security of its data center facilities. This role is responsible for managing critical infrastructure including electrical systems, HVAC, UPS systems, generators, fire suppression, security systems, environmental controls, and outside plant operations. Manage the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of: Electrical systems HVAC systems UPS systems Generators Fire suppression systems Physical security systems Environmental controls Oversee outside plant operations, including fiber repairs and patrols. Support reliable and uninterrupted data center operations. Preventive Maintenance & Emergency Response Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs for critical systems and equipment. Minimize the risk of unplanned downtime through proactive maintenance. Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Respond to incidents that could affect facility safety, security, or operational integrity. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, environmental requirements, building codes, and industry standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance, compliance, operations, and performance. Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. Vendor, Budget & Project Management Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Ensure quality, contract compliance, and cost-effective service delivery. Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and capital improvements. Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. Plan and support facility upgrades, renovations, and infrastructure projects. Team Leadership Coordinate, coach, and provide technical guidance to Data Center technicians.
