Job Description

Overview Henkels & McCoy, Inc. (H&M's) Chantilly office specializes in low voltage cabling to support enterprise, data centers, government, and medical facilities. We design and install multiple technologies and work throughout the Baltimore & Washington, DC Metro areas. H&M is seeking an energetic, career-minded individual to join our team working out of our Chantilly, Virginia office. This entry-level position, supporting office, project and warehouse operations, is an excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of the business from the ground up and grow within our organization. Responsibilities Responsible for receiving, organizing, and managing materials, equipment, stock and field supplies, physically loading and unloading trucks, moving and repositioning materials using forklifts and other machinery. Responsible for Warehouse organization and cleanliness. Assists with managing tools & equipment tracking. Assists with tracking Fleet Maintenance. Responsible for ordering/receiving/maintaining an adequate stock of Safety (PPE) items. Responsible for shipping (Fed Ex/UPS). Responsible for coordinating office repairs/maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous work experience in a warehouse environment including receiving, ordering, and tracking materials, a plus. Minimum educational requirement is a High School diploma or G.E.D. Willingness to learn. Ability to follow directions and work independently or in a team environment. Must be able to operate/drive all warehouse equipment. Previous experience operating a forklift, a plus. Must be able to spend the day doing various physical activities to include standing, walking, climbing up/down stairs or ladders, and standing for extended periods of time. Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive a 30-foot box truck and obtain and maintain a DOT physical card. (Company paid) Basic computer skills, and strong communication skills (reading/writing/speaking) to effectively communicate with others. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, a plus. Ability to make deliveries in the Baltimore/Washington DC metro area. Starting Hourly Rate $25.00 + Depending Upon Experience.
