A Facilities Manager manages the facilities of a company or organization, including buildings and grounds, equipment, supplies and staff. Oversees maintenance and security of facilities; oversees renovation projects and monitors work to improve energy efficiency, productivity or employee safety. May work in manufacturing and production, or manage hotels, small apartment buildings, trailer parks or recreational facilities.

Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day production operations across four facilities.
- Develop and execute weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
- Monitor KPIs and involve leadership teams in performance measurement and accountability.
- Coordinate operations between departments including purchasing, production, maintenance, quality, and shipping.
- Ensure efficient material flow from requisition through final shipment. People Management & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams across all locations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and excellence.
- Identify staffing needs and partner with HR in recruitment and workforce planning.
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop succession planning strategies.
- Ensure bilingual communication strategies where applicable to support workforce engagement. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality criteria.
- Oversee implementation and adherence to SOPs.
- Maintain and strengthen health & safety programs.
- Ensure proper facility, equipment maintenance, and security practices. Continuous Improvement & Growth
- Implement Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Support ERP and production management system utilization.
- Drive operational scalability to support company growth. Project & Resource Management
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Monitor progress of projects and ensure priorities are maintained.
- Ensure adequate equipment, tools, and resources are available across sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (multi-site experience strongly preferred).
- Experience in architectural millwork or similar manufacturing industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and production management software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams of 100+ employees.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
