Job Description
Fincantieri Marine Group is hiring for a Facilities Administrative Assistant in the Facilities Department at our Sturgeon Bay, WI location. Fincantieri Marine Group Fincantieri Marine Group (FMG) is a subsidiary of Fincantieri S.p.

Position Summary The Facilities Administrative Assistant supports daily operations within a large, heavy manufacturing shipyard environment. This role provides administrative, clerical, and coordination support to facilities, production, and maintenance teams across a 63-acre waterfront facility. The position plays a key role in ensuring efficient communication, documentation control, and coordination between internal departments, vendors, and shipyard personnel. Domestic travel may be required. Essential Functions Perform general administrative duties including filing, document control, data entry, and correspondence Prepare, edit, and format reports, memos, work instructions, and technical documents Maintain electronic and physical records, including master file systems and facility documentation Manage incoming communications (calls, emails, requests) and route appropriately Coordinate maintenance requests and facility-related service needs across shipyard operations Track and distribute work orders, drawings, and technical information to internal teams and vendors Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations Support production and facilities teams by preparing documentation for bids, invoices, and project tracking Other duties as assigned
