Schedule:
2nd Shift | 3:30 PM - 12 AM Overtime for all shifts a couple of times a month on Saturdays The Real Warehouse MVPs Drive Forklifts. Job Duties Operating a Sit-down forklift to move goods between storage, production, and shipping areas. Load and unload inventory from trailers and containers. Conduct pre-op inspections on equipment, report damages, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Secure, wrap, and stack pallets safely to ensure stability. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation. Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety. 1 year of previous forklift experience Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred. Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 30 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
