Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, where you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations. Your expertise in operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, will ensure the safe and accurate movement of goods throughout our distribution center. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service and maintain seamless warehouse flow. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment such as forklifts (including lift trucks and Hi-Lo), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanning devices for logistics purposes. Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials while adhering to OSHA and safety protocols. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker equipment to meet shipping deadlines. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Manage inventory levels through precise manual handling and data entry. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents against documentation and maintaining detailed logs. Support warehouse distribution tasks by organizing storage areas, performing heavy lifting safely, and ensuring materials are stored correctly for easy access. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as lift trucks, Hi-Lo's, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or similar material handling machinery. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations for forklift safety protocols and manual handling practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements. Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or distribution centers is a plus but not required; a strong team-oriented attitude is essential. Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
