Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods within our warehouse, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your expertise in operating forklifts and handling inventory management systems will be essential to support seamless warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, move, and organize products safely and efficiently. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using inventory management software and data entry systems. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and ensuring compliance with shipping logistics standards. Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms. Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation to ensure data accuracy. Assist with order picking, order fulfillment, and packaging for both domestic and international trade shipments while adhering to trade compliance regulations. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas and preparing items for shipment or storage. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during load & unload operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations, improve workflow efficiency, and meet delivery deadlines. Use Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes related to shipping & receiving activities. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including stocking, order picking & packing, shipping logistics, and inventory management software. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms is highly desirable. Basic math skills for counting items accurately and processing shipments efficiently. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping. Ability to follow safety procedures diligently during load & unload activities. Good communication skills with a focus on customer service when coordinating with internal teams or external carriers. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or e-commerce fulfillment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus.
